RNLI Garden Opened by TV Garden Expert
A garden dedicated to all the volunteers of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI),who have made sacrifices while helping to save lives at sea,has undergone a redevelopment with the help of award winning garden designer and TV presenter,Chris Beardshaw.RNLI volunteers raised the funds required to create the plot at the National Memorial Arboretum in Staffordshire.10 years ago,establishing a garden which had a sculpture of a lifeboatman as it's centrepiece.the sculpture,created by Andrew Fitchett,retains pride of place in the garden and was carefully integrated into the new design.
