The Queens Royal Lancers March Through Nottingham 10th December 2010
On the 10th of December 2010 the Queens Royal Lancers Regiment marched through Nottingham to mark their return from duty in Afghanistan,The Royal Lancers were accompanied by the Heavy Cavalry and Cambria Band.After a short service at St Mary's Church over 100 troops formed up and marched to the Old Market Square,on route the salute was taken by the Mayor of Nottingham Coucillor Brian Grocock and Major General (Retd) Andrew Cummings CBE.Following the parade,the soldiers attended a civic reception at the Council House.
